PEACEFULNESS

Romans 12:18 KJV
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

This verse teaches a posture of the heart that prioritizes peace. It does not promise that peace will always be possible, but it places the responsibility within us—to exhaust every effort within our control.
It’s a gentle but powerful call: do all you can, even when others don’t. Peace does not mean surrendering truth, but it does mean surrendering pride, offense, and vengeance.

Peace is not always a reaction, it is often a decision. A decision to answer softly, to let go quickly, and to choose the higher road. The Lord Jesus lived this perfectly. Even when accused, rejected, and crucified, He still made peace available.

Let your words be slow and seasoned. Let your spirit be light enough to release offense. Let your effort toward peace be full, even when the result is uncertain.

𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 Lord, make me a keeper of peace. Teach me how to walk away with grace, how to forgive with ease, and how to love without record. Give me strength to lay down my right to be right, and lift up the banner of Christlike peace in all things. Amen.

Peace is not always the outcome
But it must always be our offering.
