JESUS THE WORD OF GOD

SCRIPTURE FOCUS 

John 1:1–4,14 (KJV)

 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us… full of grace and truth.

REFLECTIONS 

From the very first words of John’s Gospel, we are introduced NOT to an idea, a philosophy, or a prophet—BUT  a Person: THE WORD.

Jesus Christ the living Word of God. He was there in the beginning. He was with God—and He is God.

Before there was anything created or brought into manifestation —Jesus existed.

He is the eternal Word <Logos>—the divine expression of everything God is. Through Him, all things were made.

And yet, the infinite Word became flesh, took on the fragility of humanity, and stepped into our world. Why? So that we could see God in flesh , know God, and be reconciled to God by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ .

● Revelation 19:13 calls Him by name:

● “His name is called The WORD OF GOD.”

This Word is not distant or silent.

He walks in us ,  with us, speaks to us, heals us, and saves us.

When Jesus speaks, creation responds.

When Jesus acts, eternity shifts.

When Jesus is received, life and light flood our souls.

MEDITATION 

1 John 1:1 says,

● “That which was from the beginning… concerning the Word of life.”

Jesus isn’t just a word from God—He is THE Word.

He is life. He is light. He is truth wrapped in grace.

The same Word that created you is the Word that saves you, sustains you, and will one day return for you.

REFLECTION 

●Have you made space for the Living Word to dwell richly in you? 

●Are you only reading the Word, or are you encountering Jesus Himself through it?

●Do you recognize His voice in your daily walk— by the written word or within the HOLY Spirit within you?

PRAYER

Lord Jesus,

You are the eternal Word of God—full of grace and truth.

I worship You, not just for what You say, but for who You are.

You live in me so I pray your word finds expression in my life.  

Let it shape me, convict me, renew me, and guide me.

Help me to know you more in your wors and see Your glory and walk in Your light.

Amen.

DECLARATION 

● I walk in the light of the Living Word.

● Jesus Christ is the Word of God, and He dwells in me.

● I will hear His voice, follow His truth, and reflect His glory.

● The Word of God is final authority in my life.

● I am what the word  says I am.

● I can do what the word says I can do .

● I have what the Word of God says I have.  

● The word lives in me . 

Amen.

DAILY CHALLNGE 

●Take a certain time , mornings like this preferably and get into the word of God. Get on a chapter and read and Meditate .  Seek the guidance of the HOLY Spirit to bring to your heart the person ofJesus.  

●Desire to share the Gospel of Christ Jesus to another person within your day to day activities. 

The more your share the Gospel the more of JesusChrist  even the Word becomes a reality in your life.  

FAITHUL WHISPERS  

The word of God is power.... JesusChrist is the sole expression of the power of God . Therefore you carry within you the power of God. Christ in you,  Hallelujah.
