LOVED

FOCUS SCRIPTURE

Romans 5:8-9 TPT
But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!
And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God.

REFLECTION

God’s love isn’t a response to our goodness—rather a declaration of His grace. Romans 5:8 tells us that Christ died while we were yet sinners,  which means Jesus didn’t wait for us to be worthy ; He stepped into our mess, our rebellion, and our brokenness, and gave everything up just to have us in himself.

The cross wasn’t just a display of suffering—it was the loudest shout of love God ever made. And verse 9 emphasise,  If we’ve now been justified by His blood, how much more will we be saved from wrath through Him? If He loved us enough to die for us at our worst, we can rest assured He will never leave nor forsake us now that we belong to Him.

This truth silences guilt, shame, and fear. You are not trying to earn God's approval—you already have it in Christ. The blood of Jesus speaks better things over your life: justification, salvation, and eternal security.

REFLECTION
Have you been trying to earn God’s love , approval or forgiveness by doing so much by self righteous acts ?
Salvation was never our idea so we cannot add to its process nor detect the effects on our lives . Enjoy the grace which is powerful enough to keep us from falling.
And know this , God Is pleased, in love and  with you already because you're in Christ.

PRAYER

Father, thank You for loving me even when I was far from You. Thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins. Help me to live in the fullness of Your grace, knowing I am justified and eternally saved. Let Your love shape my heart and guide my steps today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DAILY CHALLENGE

Today, live with the confidence that you are already accepted and justified by God—not because of what you’ve done, but because of what Christ has done for you.

●Find one practical way to reflect God’s love to someone who feels unworthy or forgotten—just as Christ reached out to you in your brokenness.

●Text or call someone to remind them of God’s love.

●Offer help to someone struggling.

●Speak words of life to a colleague, friend, or stranger.
